Commercial fishing was originally the companies livelihood.
As the name suggests, it was in the assembly and repair of fishing vessels that Hvide Sande Skibssmedie made its business.
Hvide Sande Skibssmedie has fitted a wide range of ships. Primarily ships for use in fishing, and boats built locally.
Ship Fitting includes all kinds of work performed on the ships, whether it is service, maintenance or the installation of new equipment. No matter if the ships have their berth in other Danish ports or foreign ports.
Hvide Sande Skibssmedie acts as subcontractors for a number of shipyards, amongst them Vestværftet in Hvide Sande, with whom they have a great partnership.
